ROK's mission is to transfer its stock of academic and professional knowledge to high school students, through a comprehensive program carefully designed to cater to these young adults' essential learning needs.
Summer 2013 Program runs between July 1, 2013 and July 28, 2013
Rays of Knowledge (ROK) is a 4 weeks summer program delivered at E.M.I.G. Switzerland by a team of University Professors and Management Consultants. The program aims at:
-Promoting the roots of key leadership attributes in high school students-Supporting a successful transition from high school to University and beyond
The program consists of two central components:
THE CORE PROGRAM PILLARS:
-Creating Awareness for Firm and Business Environment
-Fostering Team Building and Teamwork
-Building Managerial Skills
-Igniting Entrepreneurship Desire
-Introducing University Life and ProgramsTHE ELECTIVE MODULES:
Students can choose one of the following modules:
-SAT preparation course
-Professional English for Young Leaders
All material covered in the core program is transmitted to students through a variety of educational methods: in-class courses, onsite visits to key industries and institutions (Nestle, United Nations, La Maison du Gruyere, University of Geneva Campus) and recreational activities.
